t´blade is a highly innovated blade system with extraordinary thermal and skating dynamical characteristics. The t´blade-system is patented worldwide. It is the only skate system which is equipped with a ready-to-skate blade and an exchangeable runner. Sharpening the blade is
no longer necessary. A varied runner selection with different hollows & rockers
enables a perfect adaptation to all ice surface conditions.

Holder

Features

The holder forms the blade holder of the t´blade system and it is available in 2 standard colors (glass fiber reinforced) as well as a carbon variant (carbon fiber reinforced plastic). The bridge-type construction, combined with the integrated lateral ribs, leads to an extremely stiff holder with good torsion, lateral and vertical stability characteristics. By means of the holes which are provided at the sole border, the holder can be fitted to the boot via rivets or an RMS connection.

Advantages

  • Holder made of fiber reinforced plastic
  • Cold impact resistant and chip fracture safe up to -25° C
  • Closed construction between front and heel area
  • Extreme stability (triangle of forces construction)
  • Maximum shear and longitudinal force stability
  • Improves stiffness of skate outsole

Sizes

  • Standard System:  248, 256, 264, 272, 280, 288, 300mm
  • Carbon System:             256, 264, 272, 280, 288, 300mm

Stabilizer

Features

The stabilizer is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic and serves to fix the runner. It consists of a screw and a nut side, which are connected by means of the system screwdriver. The stabilizer is available in 7 standard colors and 6 further metallic colors.

Advantages

  • Quick & easy runner exchange
  • Fail-proof screwing parts
  • Stable connection between holder & runner
  • Various design options

Handling

Loosen all the screws of the stabilizer by means of the system screwdriver. Then, press with the key against the screws for detaching the nut side of the stabilizer. Take off both sides (nut and screw side) of the stabilizer.

After having replaced the runner, push the nut side into the holder first. Then attach the screw side of the stabilizer and fasten the screws. Please note that for an easier mounting and dismounting, the screw side of the stabilizer should always be on the inner shoe side.

Runner

Features

The runner almost contains the entire key technology of the t'blade system. It consists of a 1mm thick metal strip which is molded into a cold impact resistant glass fiber reinforced plastic.

Due to the low metal mass, the runner has extraordinary thermal characteristics – apart from its minimal weight. In combination with the highly polished running surface, this leads to an improvement of up to 40% of the gliding characteristics. After the runner has been worn down, it can be exchanged quickly and easily.

Advantages

  • Very light
  • Sharp edges
  • Extremely narrow turns
  • Extraordinary maneuverability
  • Excellent gliding characteristics
  • Lasts up to 4-times longer than conventional sharpening
  • Extreme edge hardness (approx. 55 HRC = 570 HV)
  • Same, consistent rocker and sharpening
  • Simple runner exchange
  • High cornering speed
  • No sharpening
  • Shatter-proof

Variations

The t´blade runner is available in 18 different variations. These result from the combination of three rockers/gliding surfaces [S-M-L] with six hollows/edges [9-11-13-15-18-21]. The corresponding runner variant (e.g. S-9-280)  is characterized by:

  • Rocker / gliding surface (S)
  • Radius of the hollow (9)
  • Length / System size (280mm)

A short rocker / contact area [S] provides a better maneuverability, a long one [L] more stability. By means of deeper hollows [9,11], a better edge hold is achieved, whereas a better gliding ability is achieved by flat radiuses [15,18].

The runner M-13 in white is the standard variant for our blade system. Apart from white runners (standard), only the variants M-11 and M-13 are also available in black.

Clip

Features

The t´blade clip, which is attached to the holder, is available in colors which match with the one of the stabilizer. It is made of non-reinforced plastic and is available in 2 standard colors as well as 6 metallic colors. The logo clip has a pure design function.

System Screwdriver

Features

The system screwdriver is needed for loosening or tightening the stabilizer screws when replacing the runner. It is made from a light aluminum alloy with a red anodized surface and has a wear-resistant keying. For frequent runner exchange, an appropriate bit, made of hardened steel, is available and can be used in cordless screwdrivers.
